Certification Authority

BENEFIT, as a Trust Services Provider (TSP), is issuing Digital Certificates that enables BENEFIT e-Cheque/BenefitPay Subscribers to digitally sign electronic cheques using their signing keys.

As such, in the context of the e-Cheque Platform, BENEFIT offers 3 trust services:

• Issuance of certificates for electronic signatures, in compliance with the Extended Normalized Certificate Policy (NCP+) of ETSI EN 319 411-1 (V1.3.1): Electronic Signatures and Infrastructures (ESI); Policy and security requirements for Trust Service Providers issuing certificates; Part 1: General Requirements.

• Management of remote signature creation device that is used in the E-Cheque Platform, in compliance with ETSI TS 119 431-1 (V1.2.1): Electronic Signatures and Infrastructures (ESI); Policy and security requirements for trust service providers; Part 1: TSP service components operating a remote QSCD / SCDev.

• Remote signature creation of electronic signatures, in compliance with ETSI TS 119 431-2 (V1.1.1): Electronic Signatures and Infrastructures (ESI); Policy and security requirements for trust service providers; Part 2: TSP service components supporting Advanced Electronic Signature (AdES) digital signature creation.
